Winter in Mariapfarr

The Lungau ski areas of Fanningberg, Großeck-Speiereck, Aineck, Katschberg and Obertauern invite you!

A free ski bus (the bus stop is only a 5-minute walk away) will take you to the ski area of your choice!

Right next door is the wellness center "SAMSUNN" to pamper yourself. Only 2 minutes walk from our house!

Summer in Mariapfarr

In summer, you can choose from 15 terrain spa trails without steep inclines with plenty of benches to rest and enjoy, as well as countless walking and hiking trails. Get FIT! Nordic walking courses for the young and young at heart are offered in the village.

You can relax and unwind in the "SAMSUNN" spa and wellness center (there are also several saunas available) - a 2-minute walk from our house.

Outdoor swimming pool (preheated approx. 26°C)- FREE for our house guests and only 2 minutes walk from our house! Indoor swimming pool (3 pools - 28° - 31° C) in Tamsweg only 6 kilometers away.

With the valley bus you can not only explore the Lungau car-free, but it also takes you to the starting point of your hikes and back to Mariapfarr.

To explore the area on the back of Icelandic horses, there are riding opportunities for beginners and advanced riders at the riding stables and in the open countryside.

Club 760 invites you to take a nostalgic ride on the steam train through the beautiful Taurach Valley - from Mauterndorf to St. Andrä. This narrow-gauge railroad first ran in 1894 - so follow in the footsteps of yesteryear.
